This is not a normal gaming purchase. The 9800X3D, RTX 5090 and 64 GB of memory only make financial sense if you will genuinely use them for extreme 4K, local AI, 3D or heavy video work.

MY TAKE, IN PLAIN ENGLISH
What I like, what gives me pause and who I would recommend it to
What gives me pause
- Very high power, heat, size and acquisition cost
- Excessive for 1080p or ordinary office use
- Confirm circuit, ventilation and physical placement
Who I would recommend it to
Reserve it for workloads that can actually use the RTX 5090 and 64 GB platform; the Rampage or Legion options are more proportionate for mainstream gaming.
My final check: I would also confirm the displays, peripherals, warranty and upgrade options required for your use.
