About Mick
Iโve been interested in computers for more than 20 years. Along the way, Iโve built and upgraded my PCs, worked through a few problems and explored different projects with my graphics cards. I like understanding how things work and choosing hardware that fits my needs.
In โA word from Mickโ, I simply share what I like about the hardware I use, what I like less and how I think through a purchase.
Our mission
GPUStores helps Canadian consumers choose computer parts and systems without mixing models, variants or specifications that are not equivalent. Our goal is to turn complex research into a verifiable decision: identify the exact product, understand the trade-offs, check compatibility and then review the retailer's offer.
What we publish
The site brings together detailed product records, comparisons, buying guides, compatibility tools and computer-hardware news. GPUStores serves Canada in English and French, with particular attention to exact identities, model references and the limits of available data.
Our editorial approach
We prioritize manufacturer sources, technical documents and exact retailer listings. Unknown or unconfirmed information is identified instead of replaced with an approximation. A product record may contain a retailer link without that retailer participating in its preparation.
Our guides explain the criteria that materially change a decision: compatibility, expected performance, memory, power, dimensions, connectivity, warranty and delivered cost in Canada.
Independence and funding
This compensation must not change our evaluation or ranking method. We do not sell products directly, and an external link does not guarantee price, stock or seller quality.
Operator and contact
GPUStores is operated by Michael Choquette from Alma, Quรฉbec, Canada. The project draws on experience in technology, product comparison and marketing to make computer-hardware decisions clearer for Canadian buyers.
