Intel Arc 32.0.101.9033 driver: what changed after 9030
Intel replaced graphics driver 32.0.101.9030 with 32.0.101.9033 on September 24. The new release adds one game but publishes no fix or performance gain. The useful question before installing is therefore whether an open issue matches your exact hardware.
Analysis of Intel documentation. GPUStores has not tested or benchmarked this driver.
Intel dates the official release notes September 24, 2026. The same package covers Arc B-Series and A-Series cards plus several Core Ultra integrated graphics platforms. This page updates our 9030 analysis at the same address because it is the same driver-tracking topic.
One new game, but no stated fix
Intel highlights one addition: Game On support for CONTROL Resonant. It applies to Arc B-Series, Arc A-Series and Core Ultra processors with built-in Arc graphics.
The notes publish no FPS gain, target resolution, comparison with 9030 or list of corrected problems. Game On confirms that Intel prepared this driver for the game; it is not a benchmark or a promise of crash-free play.
What the move from 9030 to 9033 does not confirm
The September 17 driver 9030 named fixes for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Palia, Dragon’s Dogma 2 and Capture One Pro. The 9033 notes do not repeat them. That omission proves neither their removal nor a regression, but Intel also does not reconfirm their result in the new document.
If you installed 9030 for one of those exact fixes, keep a rollback path and verify the behaviour after updating. When considering an Arc B580, driver progress matters, but support for your games, Resizable BAR and the exact model price remain more important than one version number.
Open issues in the new notes
- Arc B-Series and A-Series: Arena Breakout Infinite may crash with Terrain Surface Subdivision enabled. PugetBench for DaVinci Resolve Studio may also crash intermittently; Intel recommends a timeout of at least 1,500 seconds in the benchmark.
- Arc B, Arc A and Core Ultra: PugetBench for Adobe Lightroom Classic may crash with the extended preset.
- Core Ultra Series 3: Mafia: The Old Country may crash during gameplay.
- Core Ultra Series 2: FC 27 may crash on certain platforms, while Procyon AI Image Generation and Text Generation may fail to complete.
- Core Ultra Series 1: NBA 2K26 may crash on first launch.
Intel Graphics Software may also show a shared-GPU-memory override that does not represent the amount actually allocated. Performance Tuning remains in beta; with multiple supported GPUs, a change may affect more than one device instead of following the selector correctly.
Update now or wait?
If you are preparing CONTROL Resonant, 9033 is Intel’s targeted release. Because no game-specific fix or performance gain is quantified, keep a way back to your current driver. If the computer works well and you do not need that title, the notes establish no clear urgency; waiting for a WHQL release remains reasonable.
On a laptop or OEM desktop, Intel warns that the generic package can overwrite the manufacturer-customized driver. Intel advises returning to the OEM driver after testing until the manufacturer validates its own release. That precaution matters more than 9033 simply being newer.
